New Video: Jessie Ware - "Imagine It Was Us"

One of my favorite albums of 2012, Devotion by Jessie Ware, is finally getting a physical U.S. release next Tuesday, April 16, and I couldn’t be more excited. She is seriously the tits, guys. Imagine Sade mixed with early-90s house and a hint of trip-hop, and you have Jessie Ware. The video above is for “Imagine It Was Us,” one of the bonus tracks on the U.S. edition of her LP. The clip finds Jessie fully embracing her gay fanbase by parading around like a disco queen sporting Nelly Furtado’s extensions and bangs. I’ll be seeing Jessie at the Independent on Thursday; I hear she’s a phenomenal live performer. Remember to check out Devotion next Tuesday!
